The latest newsletter from the New York University College of Nursing’s Oral Health Nursing Education and Practice (OHNEP) program features their collaboration with COHORT following the visit of their program director- A/Prof Erin Hartnett to Sydney late last year. Erin is now an Adjunct Associate Professor with Western Sydney University’s School of Nursing and Midwifery and will assist COHORT in training undergraduate and practicing nurses and midwives in Australia.
In mid-June 2019, our Research Officer and PhD student Amy Villarosa had an opportunity to meet with Dr Erin Hartnett, the Program Director for the NYU College of Nursing’s oral health programs, and her team at New York University. The oral health programs currently being directed by Dr Hartnett include the Oral Health Nursing Education and Practice (OHNEP) program and the Teaching Oral Systemic Health (TOSH) program. We are very excited to have established this new international collaboration and look forward to our future work together.
